【Background Information】
Qu Haibin, attorney at law, director and partner of Beijing Dingjian Law firm, used to serve in the army, a member of Communist Party of China at present, and gained his master degree from Tsinghua University. He is a member of All China Lawyers Association (ALCA), Criminal Law Committee of Beijing Lawyers Association (BLA), and the 29th Beijing Olympic Games volunteer lawyer, and received “Olympic Outstanding Contribution Award”.
Qu Haibin was admitted to practice law in 1994, and has been engaged with legal service since then. He has been director of state-owned law firm, and partnership law firm, full of management knowledge and legal practice experience. During the nearly ten years’ career as a lawyer, he dedicates himself to the legal service of more than 1000 cases, and served as permanent legal advisor for 86 government agencies, enterprises, and transnational corporations, respectively.
With the increasing cooperation on both sides of the Taiwan Straits, under supervision and support of Mr.Li Yuanfa, who is an EMBA guest professor of Tsinghua University, deputy president of Beijing Association of Taiwan Investment Enterprises (BATIE), and director of Topland Group Company(Beijing), Qu Haibin, then graduate student of Tsinghua University Law School, established Beijing Dingjian Law Firm, the first comprehensive partnership law firm mainly specialized in Taiwan-related legal disputes, of which Qu Haibin has been recommended to be the director.
